David Danforth, Managing Director of imageData Group, is confident that the Zünd will add to the company's competitive edge in the point of sale and display graphics arena, "We are actively pursuing these specialist markets and make no bones about wanting a bigger slice of the cake. We already offer a great service for display material, including screen printing, litho printing, small and large format digital printing, but the Zünd now gives us a fantastic service."The Zünd G3 automates all cutting and trimming functions and is able to finish a vast array of different materials including foam materials, perspex, acrylics, vinyls and mount board up to 50mm/2" thickness.
With a working area of 1800mm (width) x 3200mm and a maximum plotting speed of 1000mm/sec the L-3200's wide format makes it particularly suited to finishing rolls of printed media, be they banners, flags or posters.
"Clients have always demanded fast turnarounds of their print projects, often using unusual materials with intricate cuts, creases and folds", explains Danforth, "but in today's break-neck, competitive climate, clients' requests are even more demanding.
